     I suspect that the pieces in question were 'a plate shy of full height' (so to speak; the same might be said of me) so that models could be made that had windshields and came out to an even number of bricks in height, as one of these pieces with a (...)     (...) J.D. Are you thinking about set Universal set #733? That had a lot of blue slopes and other blue pieces (along with a lot of red bricks). That set had the 2x2x2 "minifig dress" type clear slopes. Gary Istok (25 years ago, 3-Mar-00, to lugnet.general)
