I just visited the FBTB site and had a look at the custom models. First I
thought: Wow a new Ldraw AAT by John P Green but then I noticed that this is
mine !
See it yourself: The orginal AAT Pov-Ray at my site:
http://www.doe2.de/lego/aat_pov.html
and the stolen version from John:
http://collectibles.echostation.com/fbtb/jp.html
The difference is: I have multiple dat files for all hinged and turnable
elements. This is including the round front hatch (radar dish), the two
engines, the lasers (right and left arm), the back door, and the turret (hope
this is the correct name for it). John has taken the main dat-file and
replaced all these files.
I have posted my dat files as well as a building instruction on my webpage at
http://www.doe2.de/lego/datfiles.html
and you can see pictures of my model (all in white) I made before
http://www.doe2.de/lego/aat.html
Well, I think it is basically still my design and it would have been nice to
ask before using it and putting a new name on it.
Pictures, dat-files etc on my webpage are free to use but I like Todds idea
(can´t remember where I read this) of "linkware": if you use it in any way on
your website, put a link to the site where you took it from. It´s for free but
you pay respect to its origin.
Just my two Republic Credits...

| Hi Dö, I understand your feelingsand share your points. When you find something yours in another website it's incredible how much different you can feel whether they give you the proper credit or not. The difference is as wide as is being rewarded (...)
