    Check out this unusual auction... —Mark Herzberg
   (URL) wish him luck. I would never ever pay that much for it, though, I don't know, maybe it is worth it since I have no idea how much the pieces in the collection are actually worth (though I don't see many rare ones).    I remember seeing the pics of this town when the builder posted them last year some time, here or on rtl. It's a kinda neat town - the bar interior is nice (pity he doesn't put pics of that in the auction). But $550? I don't think so (but you never (...) (25 years ago, 16-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

   I wrote him several emails. He figures 16 cents per brick to be a fair price. I told him that is higher than retail price and his stuff is used. Not only that, there are no highly sought after items, like train parts, monorail, etc. that would drive (...) (25 years ago, 17-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
