    Interesting observations... (TLG business/marketing practice) —Jonathan Wilson
   I have noticed 2 things about this years lego: 1.TLG normally releases sets in about 2 batches: january and july. TLG seems to be doing everything possible to keep the details of the july sets for this year secret for some reason, probobly because (...) (25 years ago, 8-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Fair enough but: 1.the helicopter in question only has 2 pieces and it itself is a low volume item therefore the piece is low volume. and also by the time the discussions were taking place, the set and therefore also the part had gone out of (...)    (...) I don't think that stores are that interested in stocking lots of large sets right after Christmas. The general retailers are in the process of cutting their toy footage in half (or so). That's why e.g. Target sells off so many clearance sets (...) (25 years ago, 15-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
