    Lighting Up Legoville. —Zack Pharr
Hey, for all thoseout who have built a Lego Town ever tried to "light it up". You know like with the lighting bricks they sell in the S@H catolog. If so, can you tell me the best way to do that. Or would it be better to "light it up" with some other (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Hi Zack, Try using the 12V lighting brick from train sets, 7861 contained 4 light bricks. That's what I've used to light up my setup. I connected them to a lego 12V transformer although my trains run on 9V. Mark H. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Re: Lighting Up Legoville. —Alan Demlow
The 12V lighting bricks seem to work just fine on 9V, too (since most people aren't gonna want to shell out $40+ for a 7864 to light their town, I thought I'd point this out).          Re: Lighting Up Legoville. —Alan Demlow
The 846 is still listed on Carbon 60's Busy Bee page, last updated Nov. 15 I think. I've not bought any from them myself, though, so if anybody finds out whether they are still actually in stock, please post. (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

They certainly had at least six on Christmas eve, possibly more. On Thu, 6 Jan 2000, Alan Demlow (<FnxpAq.ABy@lugnet.com>) wrote at 22:04:02 (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)

Try your local model shop. Look for the mini lights they sell for light model railways and the like. They'll probably (but not necessarily) be cheaper, and powering them could be done by a mains transformer as opposed to an expensive Lego-brand (...) (24 years ago, 6-Jan-00, to lugnet.general)
