IMHO, acronyms DO fall in the same catagory because it is just a way to "push
it to the limit" so to speak and all your doing is abbreviating the profanity
that otherwise wouldn't be permitted and it really isn't that hard for a kid to
figure out what an acronym really means. PITA is not as bad IMHO as WTF(I think
we've seen more than enough of that one lately) and SOB(which I can't say I've
seen), but I think that it is more the principle of using acronyms than the
actual acronyms themselves.

Folks, I hate to be a PITA, here, but will ya cut the swearing, please?  I
have to say the casual one-offs here in .general bug me a whole lot more • than
anything else.

Someone pointed out to me in e-mail that this is a case of the pot calling • the
kettle black (for PITA).

I didn't (and don't) think that acronyms fall into the same catagory, but
someone obviously does, so I'll refrain from doing it in the future.

My apologies.
