Re: build-fever (was Re: Some aquazone cheer.)

(...) My post was genuine... but I won't deny that had crossed my mind ;) (...) You're always flattering Nathan! I've had some ideas but they were shelved when HoB came along; my focus went all space. Jason Spears' layout at HoB was gorgeous. It (...) (21 years ago, 18-Jun-05, to lugnet.general, FTX)

build-fever (was Re: Some aquazone cheer.)

(...) You're a fine one to comment on build/noise ratio ;) Pillar of the community and all. I'm ALWAYS building. Everyday. Even if I just tool around with some minifigs, I have to build or I'll get irritable. I need to have a project in mind or I'll (...)   Re: AoJT3: Johnny Thunder and the King of the Gypsies (Update June 18)

Here's another update for you all. There are only 6 more updates until the thrilling conclusion. That's 24 more scenes, for anyone who is keeping count, making it longer than my previous two combined. Hope it was worth it: (URL) whole ghetto (er, I (...)   Non-numbered sets in the database (Re: Book Reviews, feedback)

Hello! Sorry for revitalising an aged thread... (...) The main problem with the database probably is its strict limitation to numbers. While I like set numbers and actually prefer them over set names (because numbers are universal while names differ (...)   Re: My FotD

(...) These are my first two copies of the part(s), but I've seen them in a bunch of MOCs and am glad to get my hands on them (even if my actual LEGO building has waned lately). Dave! (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Load up the LEGO

Heh, yeah, I got just a few comments when loading the moving truck for my move from CA to FL. I use Iris carts to organize a lot of my collection (as (URL) shows in the rental we recently moved out of), and when packing the 24' truck, I used the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: My FotD

In my case, I "found" it because it is one of my favorite parts, I own at least 40-50, if not more. And I happened to have a copy of 7239 in my office to reference ;-) (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) Visual FAQ home *(URL) Visual FAQ Home (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

New home for Brickshelf Scan Library

(...) Actually, I didn't recognize the part until reading your reply, but I do have two of the 6154 in red. Since I also have about half a dozen of those trans-light-blue roller-door elements (4219), I'm guessing that this represents part of the (...) (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)

  Re: My FotD

These sound like the 1x4x4 doors in 7239 but very few other sets - (URL) a decently rare part. Not very useful without the 1x4x4 frame (6154) to go with it, though. (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) Visual FAQ home *(URL) Visual FAQ Home (21 years ago, 17-Jun-05, to lugnet.general)
