Hi all, I'm sure most of you know that the Lego Factory contest ended on Monday and the winners have been announced. Well here we are in 2005, and it is the 50th Anniversary of the Lego System of Play. And it is also the 50th Anniversary for Lego in Sweden. (...) Gary, I think I agree with Mark's point. If the garage pieces were to come out new today there would be a thread about how "junior" they are. The one-piece cars, trees, lightposts, and signs would probably receive similar reviews. Since they (...) (21 years ago, 23-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

(...) OK Mark, now I'm stumped.... what parts did you consider juniorised? The 2x4 half circle macaroni bricks? Or? I missed 3 new Lego elements in my 1955 tally. One was the #200/#1200 Town Plan board, which originally came out in thin soft plastic (...) (21 years ago, 22-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)
