  Ancient Lego Windows

Eric Strand brought this EBAY auction item to my attention. (URL) is an early Lego spare parts pack for Lego windows/doors from 1954-56. And it looks quite interesting. The windows/doors are the variety made from 1949-56 without glass. The (...) (21 years ago, 7-Feb-05, to lugnet.general)

Mottled wall with pointed stainglassed windows

Hi happy builders, when I saw nfranke's cathedral ((URL) was struck by the fact that by a quit simple misdirection you could make the arches appear less round and more pointed. If you look at the middle part of his (her?) cathedral, you see what I (...) (21 years ago, 6-Feb-05, to lugnet.general) !

Though for that I'd like to be sure that there was no other way to fix the bulb first... A last resort type thing. (...) (...)   Re: 2 different sliding doors

(...) I have no idea myself, but prototype seems reasonable guessing to me. They may have decided that it required too fiddly of a position to cover the opening and that a wider opening was better...   2 different sliding doors

Hi, I already asked this question in the forum at 1000steine.de but nobody could give an answer, although there a many 12V hardcore fans. I also emailed a couple of fans but nobody has ever seen the door at the bottom of the picture: (URL) pic (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.general, lugnet.trains, lugnet.parts)

Re: HELP needed with non-functioning 1x2 light brick!

If it's a non-functional bulb, I'd think this would be an ideal opportunity to experiment with it and take it apart, to see if you can fit in a new lightbulb. It shouldn't be that difficult to accomplish. Perhaps you can even redesign it so it takes (...) (21 years ago, 5-Feb-05, to lugnet.parts, lugnet.storage, lugnet.general)
