Re: Happy Holidays = LEGO under the tree

(...) Well, what I got, I put up for offer in my Bricklink store. Does that sound bad? I came up with a personal axiom for myself this past year, which is, "when you are in debt, you really own nothing." I am close to being free of debt, though - (...)   Re: What happened to Brickshelf?

(...) I have noticed it is unavailable a larger percentage of the time of late. It seems sporadic, the unavailability doesn't usually last very long but it's definitely not 100%. (21 years ago, 25-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: What happened to Brickshelf?

(...) Actually it was working fine a few minutes after I posted it. Perhaps it was a momentary DNS glitch or perhaps it was only down for a few minutes, but either way it's not an issue any more. (21 years ago, 25-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Points on the Back Corner of Instruction Booklets

(...) The only purpose I recall was that if you accumulated a really low number of points (say twenty-five or so) you could get a free membership to the Lego Builders Club. It was how I got my first membership all those years ago. The interesting (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

  New sets.. only a dream

It was almost like Christmas Eve... I dreamed there was a new red tub, with all-different bonus box, and TRU was selling them separately because the straps broke. I dreamed there was a line of Designer sets in white wraparound packaging, there was a (...) (21 years ago, 24-Dec-04, to lugnet.general)

Points on the Back Corner of Instruction Booklets

Does anyone know what they were for? I remember that they used to appear in all the sets I bought in the early 90's and that I saved the instruction booklets to save the points.   Happy Holidays oh and by way "Head for High Ground!"
