Query about a construction technique at LegoWorld

I was looking through the galleries of images from Zwolle, there are some great MOCs pictured there. Can anyone give a report on the show, apologies if I have missed one.   Making your own stickers

All, HELP! I've tried to track down through searching the database info/posts on how to make stickers for a special project I'm trying for my kids. Some useful stuff, but haven't found exactly what I need. Questions are: - What's the best material (...) (22 years ago, 25-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Are *we* part of TLG's problem?

(...) I don't believe that's true. LEGO targets the yound children with "cool" products that are all fresh and new. Most kids would rather have the newest theme than an old set they saw in a catalog a year ago. And if these kids wanted these sets in (...) (22 years ago, 24-Oct-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Most redundant Lego part

(...) I used to think the same, until I came to build the drawbridge mechanism. (URL) stack of five 1x2 bricks has 4 more "ridges" than a single 1x2x5 brick which puts just enough extra friction on the beam that it will not fall under gravity. So (...)
