(...) When I used to buy old lots of Lego off of eBay, I would go through and hand wash each piece. I would fill a tub with lukewarm soapy water (a mild liquid dish soap work best). I let the bricks soak for a while and then scrub each piece on all (...) (22 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

John, Do a search on Lugnet for "clean" or "cleaning" - I think there may even be something in the Guide on it. As far as getting them "shiny" again, that's tougher, as the dulling of the finish is more due to minute scratches than it is to dirt. (...) (22 years ago, 22-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

This is my first post and I hope this is not an oft asked question,as I could not find one.I know there are a lot of ways everyone can clean their bricks but to get them 'shiney' clean and not hurt them,is something I would rather just be safer than (...)
