  Re: I hate MOCPages

(...) I like that idea-- it's always been an annoying bug in my mind that people will abuse the voting/reviewing right by simply cleaning out their cookies and voting/reviewing multiple times; hence boosting their favorite MOCs and (more (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: I hate MOCPages

(...) What about granting the ability to turn on and off the review mechanism completely? Personally, though I'm gratified by praise for my MOCs, I really could get along without the whole thing. People can still send feedback to a contact addy if (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: I hate MOCPages

All: Sorry for the late reply on this thread ... I was away for a long holiday weekend. The reviewing mechanism on MOCpages was meant to be that - for reviews. I created it as a means for people to offer praise and/or constructive criticism. Want to (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Next Legend re-release

(...) I was lucky to get an unopened one a few years ago after it had been discontinued for a reasonable price. Since the set has no dark grey pieces in it, the re-release won't suffer from the new dark grey (which I cannot stand). However, we still (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Pick-a-Brick Billund inventory

I was there on sunday, august 29th and filled one bucket. See hte left in this picture: (URL) think the price was good, if you took some time (I think my wife and I were 1.5 hours bussy), there were realy great finds in there. I managed to find 19 (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general)

  San Francisco Mosaic v. Frances

So, while Hurricane Frances had weakened considerably by the time it passed RIGHT OVER Auburn, AL, I still had to worry about 40mph+ winds wreaking havoc of the San Francisco mosaic which hangs in my carport. How does one protect a 12' long, (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.build.mosaic, lugnet.general, lugnet.build.mosaic)

  Re: Pick-a-Brick Billund inventory

(...) Seeing what they offered at 299/box, I think I'm happy to say that we were there early in the season and paid 599/box, in our case red boxes: (URL) We were there 3 days in a row, and every morning new bricks were added, often in bags straight (...)   Re: new pictures from the Lego archive Billund

(...) Hi Jan, these pictures are amazing! I've only one question: do you remember the number of this set? (URL) Looks like a Basic from late '70s - mid '80s, but I couldn't find it anywhere. Best regards Gabriele (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: What's actually the task of the moderators on BrickShelf?

(...) Well, this is quite the discussion, isn't it? Seeing this post, and the link to that Brickshelf gallery, I feel compelled to shed some light on the whole situation of the builder. That gallery belongs to my friend, Eric Anger. The models he's (...) (22 years ago, 7-Sep-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.off-topic.debate, FTX)
