  Re: A fan no more

(...) I think the general view expressed so far suggests that many long-term TECHNIC builders are still firmly married to the studded system, that many people who have gone heavily into Mindstorms have found reasons to cross over, and kids are (...)   Re: A fan no more

(...) The ironic thing is that there is no TECHNIC clone on the market (making the one on the left more distinctly "LEGO"), and parents often get confused about what is truly LEGO product vs. what is a clone product. (22 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Who made this Frog

(...) Thanks Corey I to belive sum better pics would be really REALLY nice if they could be found. I hope someone can do this. But, being that the builders do not use instructions this will not be happening,,,,,sad. Tom (22 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: A fan no more

(...) Yes, and that's my whole point. Technic _was_ part of the System and it's not anymore. It's more Znap than System and that's what I (and probably some others) don't like. (...) You misread what I wrote. Modern Technic is cumbersome, not (...) (22 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) The form letter left out a key sentence: This subject is far too serious to joke about. (...) But was he actually complaining, or just commenting? Cheers Richie Dulin (22 years ago, 13-Jul-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: standard FAN-NO-MORE complaint form v0.9.3

(...) I thought Stephen's post was humorous. He's got a point: people need to lighten up. I know of a lot of great builders who've gotten fed up with all the complaining that goes on at Lugnet, so much so that they don't read or post often anymore. (...) Jeez, Stephen! Granted my post wasn't positive, but I think you now look the bigger whiner here. In my post I addressed completely legitimate complaints with a product I've loved for decades (and which I feel completely justified in offering an (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: A fan no more

(...) You know, even though you probably weren't trying to, I think you just answered my biggest question. I've always been looking at the old TECHNIC parts in terms of combining TECHNIC aspects into System constructions, which is a big advantage (...) (22 years ago, 12-Jul-04, to lugnet.general)
