 | | Missing Pieces
|

Does anyone else have this problem? I buy a couple sets a week. This week there were some good sales and clearance items, so I've purchased half a dozen sets this week. At this pace, every few months I run across a set that has a missing piece. The (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general)

 | | Pictures from Billund (and the vault)
|

Each year De Bouwsteen (Dutch LEGO club, name translates to The BuildBrick) organizes a trip to Billund for it's members. This year's visit was another big success. Since photo's of the vault might interest you, we made some and you can see them at (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

(...) I recycle boxes from new sets. If I buy an old set with its box, I make a half-hearted effort to sell the box on ebay or to a member of my LUG. If that doesn't pan out, I recycle it too. The only boxes I have kept are the plastic tubs from the (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) The set number looks right. Its numbered right after the new legend Hotrod 10151. And nothing else looks off in the Brickshelf directory. Could be, but why no "Hey, look what I saw !!..." type post. I'm too skeptical to believe it yet. Mike (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Quick little note for part history hounds: I noticed that the interior of the brick known as "Slope Brick 65 2 x 2 x 2" has been given new strength. I do not recall this in any other set, but it's got triangles inside. The bracing extends as a (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general)

I hope it is real, but I'm not going to hold my breath. Too many people having "fun" (I call it cruelty) displaying "official sets" in the last few years. If it's real, I could see buying a few [dozen], maybe. (...) -- Tom Stangl *(URL) Visual FAQ (...) (22 years ago, 13-May-04, to lugnet.general)

(...) Interesting. I wonder if this is all using the old greys?
