  Re: Problem with BrickShelf

(...) Lenny, Your question should be directed to Kevin Loch @ webmaster@brickshelf.com Rich (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general)

  Problem with BrickShelf

Perhaps we need a group on lugnet for talking about BrickShelf. One thing I don't particularly care for about BrickShelf is that when you upload a zip file that has something wrong with it (ie, spaces in the filenames) nothing shows up when you're (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

Jake: I think others are doing a great job of listing the elements to keep producing in the classic gray's and brown. I really want to see these available in a bucket or tub format. Have track and baseplates available seperatly. But think buckets (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: a Space bucket, what should be in it?

(...) More greebles, plates, wedge slopes, slopes, rare computer pieces, whatever the rest of you want, but most importantly, less space. Peace and overflowing tubs, Professor Whateverly (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

  Re: Darth Newbius Gray

(...) I, for one, think this is beyond funny. I'm reminded of South Park for some reason... Isn't humor a grand coping mechanism? :) Jeff (22 years ago, 7-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Off-Topic: Re: The Solarian Imperial Archive is back!

(...) Remember that Monty Python episode where the newly weds went into a mattress shop to buy a bed? And every time they said "mattress" to the salesman, he put a bucket over his head? Well, Someone just said "brickshelf" to Jon! ;P (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.space, lugnet.general, lugnet.publish, FTX)

  Re: Darth Newbius Gray

(...) Ohhhh! That is so insensitive!! I can't believe you used mini-figures with arms, some people based their whole life off of faceless, armless mini-figures! And all those bright colors and muted earth tones inter-mixed! Oh-my-gawd!! How could (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Color Change - Final Update

With respect to the old light grey, I cannot figure out which set cannot be build in the new light grey. I like the new light grey much better. When I can, I will probably sell all my old light grey parts and obtain new light grey parts. This (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

Larry, (...) Although i have both metroliners (being the legend in multiple copies), i must admit i bought the legend mostly for the parts. But if it was in new light grey, there would not be no reason for me to buy it. Again to the point of my (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) First of all: I will buy this legend, if only because I never got the original Hot Rod. As to your question regarding the classic space legend in new grey: SURE I would buy it. When I look at my current collection of grey peices, I notice that (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, FTX)

  Re: Signature Pictures etc.

Thanks for your help Dave - I'll see if I can figure it out! Chris P.S. It took me a while to find out that you had responded to my posting - sorry for the delay in acknowledging your help. (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Announcing new Legend!

(...) Maybe. It may also drive more and more people away from lugnet, as all the ranting is so infuriating to read. For the moment, lugnet is worse than having to listen to my two teenage boys quarreling. (Back to www.tt-forums.net for something (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) Agree totally, the only proviso is, these must be available from retail outlets, not just Shop@Home, and also available in as many countries as possible, here in NZ we see very few (if any) of the bulk tubs. Thanks - Ken (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

Hi Jake I wish it would be possible to produce the new very useful 12 x 3 wedge plates 47397 and 47398 in the old light and dark gray colors. Mattias Göteborg Sweden (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Announcing new legend!

(...) It's also an interesting movie, but I think I need to see it a couple more times before I can really work out if i *like* it or not... But anything with Meryl in it is worth at least a couple of viewings ;) ROSCO (FUT o-t.fun) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.general, lugnet.lego, lugnet.off-topic.fun)

Re: The Solarian Imperial Archive is back!

(...) Hah, okay. I guess I was kinda overreacting. (...) Hrmm, okay. I've never found my organization particularly confusing, but that's probably because I wrote the site. :) I didn't know anyone felt that it was confusing, thank you VERY much for (...)   Re: Request for Feedback - focused thread

(...) 1. With the (possible) exception of train track (especially 9V) and the 48x48 baseplate, I wouldn't want parts to be 'locked into' a particular color, if that meant they were completely unavailable in other colors. But parts that I would like (...) (22 years ago, 8-May-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

Re: The Solarian Imperial Archive is back!

(...) I never said backstory was pointless or even brought that up. I'm not sure where you're going exactly but I'll go with it. Here's how it is: If you don't have some great MOCs to begin with no one reads your stories. Even then most people skip (...)   Re: The Solarian Imperial Archive is back!

(...) I decided to give my MOCs a backstory, pointless perhaps, but I don't really care. Politely, just because you don't personally like to give your MOCs a backstory, it doesn't mean that others share your same inclination, witness the dozens of (...)
