| (...) Well, if you're going to put it anywhere, you'd put it in the nation's REAL capital, Toronto. You know, the one that leads in economy, population, culture etc. :) It only makes sense that you'd go for Toronto: If you had to pick a place with (...) | | | | | Re: The AFOL mind

| (...) I have had some experiences with non-AFOL's who just "don't get" the LEGO hobby. Of course, no one can be interested in every hobby there is, but usually people can understand an interest in someone else's hobby. A person who doesn't like (...) | | | | | whats up with the rollout of the Lego Stores?
|
| Why is it that (acording to an official page at lego.com), Russia (of all places) is getting a Lego Store (in moscow) but countries with probobly a much greater market (e.g. Australia or Canada) arent? (22 years ago, 5-Apr-04, to lugnet.loc.au, lugnet.lego.direct, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.general)

| I think there was a published list a ways back, I just couldn't find it. I know that Chicago-area got 2 stores, Boston got another one, Southern California (LA-area) got another store, NY City Metropolitan got 2 (1 in NJ - Paramus Park) and 1 Nyark) (...) | (...) Well, it's not really a "list" per se, but I was referring to this page of new store openings on the LEGO site, which lists cities by country: (URL) Strutt (22 years ago, 4-Apr-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.ca, lugnet.loc.ca.on.ott, lugnet.org.ca.parlugment)

|
| (...) This is a problem that will always come up. I've made instructions for some of my models and posted them on my site. |
| I'm sure this has been asked before, but will the Lego Company ever make new types of parts that AFOLs like us have suggested? I know they're not allowed to just take ideas and use them without a legal agreement, but is there a legal framework for (...) (22 years ago, 4-Apr-04, to lugnet.general)
