  Re: Article text

(...) Hey, if you're gonna be arguing about the meaning of the word "have", take it to .off-topic.debate. :) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Article text

(...) In order to have them they have to be able to sell them. I don't think I'm splitting hairs at all. I was just responding to your accusation that I was reading more into the word "have" than you were, which I still think was not the case. (...) (...)   Re: My New Lego Flash Game

(...) I'm not good at it (I know from experience ;-)) I like the way you made the game, but I keep missing the spaceships I have to shoot. Maybe that's the point ;-) Saskia (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Article text

(...) You're splitting hairs. In order to have them they have to produce them. However you want to split it does not cost any more to have bley and grey than it does to have bley and (any color). The main point should be that while developing bley (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: Article text

(...) OK so nobody likes my term "Switched around". Matters not. The point is that they had nowhere near sold the original castle to all the people who would likely buy one. They couldn't keep going with it though because of the color change. So (...) (22 years ago, 28-Feb-04, to lugnet.general, FTX)

  Re: AFOLs - The comic!

(...) I never suggested abandoning the effort, just that perhaps a comic isn't the most effective means of doing it. And that doesn't mean the comic shouldn't exist either, just not as a propaganda tool. All this talk of 'tailoring it to different (...)   My New Lego Flash Game

Some of you may remember a MOC I made a while ago The Drone Transport (URL) Well, I made a new Flash game starring the MOC and put it on my website. Yes, it's really short and fairly easy, but it's pretty cute and fun if I don't say so myself... Go (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.general)

  Re: AFOLs - The comic!

(...) I think you're jumping to conclusions here. All we've seen so far was the version that was used for internal purposes. Significantly different audiences will need versions that are tailored to fit their needs and views. The whole greys issue (...) (...) They did no such thing. The new HP Hogwarts Castle is a 100% new design. The intent was to provide something that would appeal to those who had already bought the original Hogwarts, but that could still serve as a focal set for those who (...)   Re: AFOLs - The comic!

(...) Jake, I consider myself a AFOL "Sleeper". Perhaps The Lego Company should concentrate their efforts in developing better designed products rather than comic books. If so you would definitely wake me up from a very long Lego snooze. Recent Lego (...) (22 years ago, 27-Feb-04, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general, lugnet.org, FTX)

(...) I trust the guy *driving* the car. But at this point, I don't trust the guys that *own* the car as far as I can throw them.
