Re: New colors and other info

(...) People may have been just as upset about the introduction of the minifig[1] and many other product changes over the years, but just didn't have such an efficient means of letting TLC know that they were unhappy. TLC should thank their lucky (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: New colors and other info

I wonder if people complained as bitterly when Lego came out with the modern minifig. If you want the same toy your grandparents played with - go buy Lincoln Logs. What a bunch of crybabies.   Re: Spray Paint Gone Awry - Need Help

(...) I seriously don't think cleaning 1000 parts with Brasso is at all realistic. My understanding is that you're looking at at least a minute or two per part if you are really lucky. I would identify the rare parts, brasso those, and replace the (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: 2004 Castle Products

(...) Well, I can only second that. Even though I have the next LEGO shop more or less around the corner (half an hour drive+searching for a parking lot ;-), I usually do not buy there. The more interesting sets have been available only through S@H (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)

(...) In case you haven't noticed - Gray is one of the primary colours when it comes to castles ;-) Seriously - Tom raises an important point here: "How reliable is TLC?", and I see close connections between changes in bricks/colours and changes in (...) Hi Anne, for what it's worth, and from what I recall reading, the profanity was not directed at Lego, it appeared to be a spat between two posters that got out of hand, one guy (can't remember who, and (...) Dear Jake, dear Kate (if you are still among us), (...) Thank you for your efforts to help us. Time and again it seems that the internal communication within TLC seems to be the problem. How about using the force of this consumer reaction storm to (...) (22 years ago, 25-Nov-03, to lugnet.lego, lugnet.general)
