Hello, I've just received one of these in pretty bad shape: (URL) There is a big ink blob in one corner that I intend to clean up, but without damaging the painted pattern on the baseplate; also, a number of unidentifiable marks (similar to rubber (...) I am a big fan of Google News ((URL) You can use it to set up "news alerts" that send out an e-mail when a certain keyword is found in news stories (say, LEGO). One of the things I love about it is its breadth of coverage. You get news from lots of (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.mediawatch, lugnet.off-topic.debate)

(...) Peeron has a listing of inventoried parts by color: (URL) on a part in that list & you'll get a listing from most to least of the sets with that part. That should make finding specific parts, and seeing if the part is actually made a little (...) (22 years ago, 16-Sep-03, to lugnet.general)
