  Looking for early 70s set ID
 
Hi, all, I'm trying to figure out which was my first Lego set. I've dug around the LUGNET set guide, but I'm stumped. It was circa 1972, and the set had 6 blue 10x20 baseplates, and bricks in red, white, blue, and clear. It had a bunch of 2x8 white (...) (22 years ago, 30-Aug-03, to lugnet.general)

Hmm. I voted for "buy it and demand a discount" as closest to my real response. More precisely I'd show it to a manager and ask what kind of discount I could get. If it was deep enough to make up for probable missing pieces (minifigs, often), I'd (...) (22 years ago, 29-Aug-03, to lugnet.general, FTX)
