  Re: I couldn't sleep so...

(...) Thanks for providing a little about what the images mean to you. It's a different interpretation than the immediate one that came to my mind upon seeing them. In case anyone was wondering, my immediate reaction to the images was to take them (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.tx, lugnet.org.us.texlug)

  Re: Divorce?

To get back to the point, here's my worst LEGO memory: When I was a kid - eh, younger - I tried very hard to make a wheel loader in LEGO. I tried and tried and tried but could not make it look like a wheel loader. I lacked the skill and got really (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: Divorce?

(...) You are still cool with me dude. But I think you should ship your Optimus Prime to my house for safe keeping. I mean who knows what other lego creations she might be it out to destroy!   Re: Newest lighting mod: the Emperor

(...) Those light-mods are frickin cool! I think the emperor is cooler than the lightsabers. Serious potential there, my suggestion for your next mod is some alternating lights, the older style light boxes had it where if you put the light 'bar' on (...)   Apology for any hurt feelings (was: Re: Divorce?)

(...) Erm....I believe it was I who posted that. Lesseee, how do I say this...Um, when I read your post, I had gotten home from rebuilding my shed that had just been blown over a steep hill (long story), and I was not in a good mood. I wanted (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

  Re: I couldn't sleep so...

(...) Thanks much. I really don't know what else to say as a reply, but thanks. I am glad my message has touched as many people has it has. (...) I can understand where you might see something in the pictures that I did not intend. I was not trying (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.loc.us.tx, lugnet.org.us.texlug)

  Re: Divorce?

(...) But Kirby, that’s the nature of ‘sarcasm!’ You choose all the “Wrong words” specifically in order to apply an inflection. The “wrong words,” when properly understood, are what create the humor! By explaining the nuances or by being stolidly (...) (23 years ago, 2-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)

Re: Show Your Support of STS-107

My tribute: (URL) is based on the "missing man plane formation" that is used to salute lost fliers, using the remaining three shuttles. Joe Meno (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

  Re: Divorce?

(...) Thanks...but I was just saying what I thought came right. (...) I'm not sure why some cannot comprehend sarcasm...in today's society, we *need* humor more than anything. Talking about life as it is shows lurkers that us lego fans have normal (...) (23 years ago, 3-Feb-03, to lugnet.general)
