An assistant would help the most. More time off would mostly translate
into more time at other parts of the fest. I strongly suspect that the
only way I would really go for more than 9 hours of Pirate Game
(including setup) would be for Brickfest to extend a whole additional
day (or at least for me to drive up Thursday night so setup would happen
Friday morning/early afternoon and game would run for a few hours (say
5-8 on Friday - starting late enough that folks would be there to play,
ending in time to socialize with folks once the con is in full swing and
most attendees have arrived, and allowing for time between setup and
play to go setup in the other rooms).

Ya. Official start time WAS 10 AM friday and stuff was going down but it
really didn't get rolling till well into the afternoon. You just have to get
your job/LEGO balance right!
