I really enjoyed reading your rules. I think one of the most important
aspects of a lego battle is that it be hilarious. My friends and I designed
a similar system and had many wars when we were in high school and college.
We used a 20 sided die, and you got an armor point for each piece of
protection you had on. This made armored knights on horseback very tough
targets.
Any roll of a 20 resulted in instant death of the target, even if it was a
gigantic 25 hit ship!! If a 1 was rolled, the attacker inadvertantly hits a
fellow soldier or himself. Roll a 2, and your weapon breaks.

| As part of the on-going retirement on my website on shades-of-night, I've updated & moved the rules for LEGO(r) Wars to a Lugnet FTX page. They are now at: (URL) always, I like getting feedback, or just hearing about people who've used them, so (...) (23 years ago, 18-Jun-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.castle)
