I really enjoyed reading your rules.  I think one of the most important
aspects of a lego battle is that it be hilarious.  My friends and I designed
a similar system and had many wars when we were in high school and college.

We used a 20 sided die, and you got an armor point for each piece of
protection you had on.  This made armored knights on horseback very tough
targets.

Any roll of a 20 resulted in instant death of the target, even if it was a
gigantic 25 hit ship!!  If a 1 was rolled, the attacker inadvertantly hits a
fellow soldier or himself.  Roll a 2, and your weapon breaks.
