Thanks! As a bit of a purist (I get itchy at the idea of making sails for some
other projects I'm working on) it made me feel all dirty to modify the head.
And not in the good way, like watching Cinemax late at night.

We used the minifigs for miniatures for quite a while, although everyone else
was still army men and cowboys and indians, and not to scale. The scenery was
just drawn onto a dry-erase hex map. Really, all the minifigs did was act as
placeholders....
I was running a Deadlands game (horror western- see www.peginc.com for more
info) for a while, and I used LEGO for almost everything. I drew "flat"
terrain features on the hex map (roads, rivers, ponds, tracks, etc) but I used
LEGO for all the other scenery, such as trees, furniture, etc, and since I knew
who and what the villians would be, I was able to have them in LEGO as well. I
had to buy about 16 skeletons from AucZILLA for that...
On the other hand, I don't use LEGO at all for the Champions game I'm currently
running. I did make some figs for a 7th Sea game I'm in, but no real custom
jobs, just head/arm/leg swaps.
