I think you really captured the spirit of Solitare nicely! The face painting
came off very well indeed. Why did you choose to go the masking route instead
of using a small brush and hand painting the way Craigo does?

I'm not a painter/cutter/gluer myself, of course, but I still can admire what
others do while not choosing to do it myself. I think that's what is neat
about LEGO boundaries, we can choose our own boundaries and adhere to them
while still respecting and admiring the work that others do even if they chose
different ones.

I used to paint gaming miniatures (both for wargames and role playing games) and I know from experience that it would be wicked hard to get the black eye patches symmetrical in freehand.
