Hi there,

Do tell more about what city you worked on!

I just constructed 3 small Mycenaean houses based on Peter Connolly's
illustration of Agamemnon's citadel in _The Greek World of Odysseus_. I had not
realized how rich this book was, having read the Trojan War narrative pages once
but not seen the rest. This is one of Connolly's medium-size books and there are
quite a few cutaway models of houses, palaces, and fortifications. As well as
the constant smattering of vases and pottery showing chariots, headdresses,
weapons, and clothing. A good many pages of weapons and helmets duplicate those
in _Greece and Rome at War_, Connolly's large book of things military. Connolly
engages in theories on how the stories about the gods changed, who the Trojans
looked like (hint, Sea-Peoples and Hittites), where the stories about Odysseus
came from, and so on.

I've not had much delight with minifig costuming, though I continue to build
stuff in minifig scale (actually I build 4 scales.) Mostly I'm interested in
researched floor plans and multicolored decoration.

Pictures coming up...
