INTRODUCTION:
Hello!
Don’t want to go traveling across land in CastleQuest? Don’t wish to travel the
High Seas in Andrews game? Wish for bloodshed, swirling combats and valiant last
stands?

Welcome to Battlelug, the online game that incorporates ALL of this!
The concept of Battlelug is for those of us who dont want to waste time on some
stupid adventure, but want combat.
In the following tome you will witness all the rules and plot required to play
this game.

This is an ongoing project, and as it developes more will be added and
fine-tuned. Please email me at: Aramir12@hotmail.com for any questions about
this game.

This game is not meant to be a one-time, or even a month long game. It is an
ever-going-on struggle between Good and Bad. Its one biig, loong camaign.

THE MAP IS IN PROGRESS.

Plot:
Magmran the King of Corruption has launched an assault on the world. His mighty
armies crash and destroy upon the Trio of the Free: Elves, Men and Dwarves.

The anceints linger in their territorys, fighting off the threat. The horrid
creatures- orcs, wraiths, undead, and other minions of evil- attack from their
horrid north kingdom.

The Trio of the Free must unite and fight back the attackers, or all shall be
lost.

SETTING UP AN ARMY:

First, you must set up your army. Each minifig takes up a square on the map.
Going by the size of the minifig, you determine how bit other objects- battering
rams, etc- will be.

You MUST have pictures of your army availible. What you have in minifigs etc is
what you play online. Though the actual minifigs arnt used, that is concidered
your army.

Your army may be aceints, Elves, Dwarves, Men, or all four. Either that or it
can be Evil, which is wraiths, undead, orcs, goblins, and all other foul
creatures.

You must have more then twenty minifigures to make your army.

In this game, your army is in Regiments. 10 or more Minifigs represents a
regiment. A war machine or a large monster also represents a regiment.

Once you have your army created, you fill out this form:

COMMAND
Leaders:
Special Characters:
Mages:

TROOPS
Axmen
Halberdmen
Spearmen
Bowmen
Crossbowmen
Swordsmen

War Machines:

Add your war machines.

LARGE AND MAGICAL CREATURES:

Add large and/or magical creatures here.

Onto the other stuff you need:
Since this game uses the gridmap, you must know this:

Troop move 6 spaces, 12 when running.
Cavalry move 12 when trotting, 24 when galloping
Heavy machines move 6 when grinding along, 12 when being pushed hard.
Magical creatures move 12 walking, 18 running. If they are flying, then 24
gliding and 48 flying hard.

FIGHTING ONLINE:

To fight online, you put up a post that you wish to fight someone with your
army. Somone else takes up your request and the rest is arranged through email.

The first way to fight online is throught Chat. Find a chat program you both
have, and make sure you can send pics over it.

Then, using the Map, you move each regiment, which is represented by a color,
around. When you wish to attack, say so.

Both sides must have a six sided die. The defender side rolls the dice, and on a
roll of 1, 2, or 3they either break and run or are half-destroyed by their
enemy. If they roll a 4,5 or 6, then they stand valiantly, taking only one
casualty. To see what they do, defender must roll the die again. If it comes up
1, 2, half the regiment is destroyed. Any other result they brake and run double
their running distance.

If only one person is left standing, then he automatically flees.

Then there is the slower way, in which you play exactly as above only through
email.

VICTORY POINTS:

Victory points are the overall stats for your side. At the beggining of this
game, it will start out 0 to 0. Each battle you win is a victory point for your
side, and minus a point for your enemys side. To keep track of who currently has
the upper hand, simply refer to the weekly updated Victory points.

The map will also be updated with the lines of how much territory each side
currently has.

These rules will be updated a lot better when I have time.

Have fun, and DO MUCH MASSACREING!
