This does sound like the best option. I understand that you're chances of
hitting someone/thing important should be low, but every bullet that misses
the first guy might hit the next guy. If you fire a full clip into a large
crowd, you're going to probably miss the really annoying fellows up front
yelling foul names and carrying obscene protest banners, but you're going to
hit some of the mindless college student wanna-bes behind them. Is there any
modifier for target density?
Example: You fire a full clip in a 30 degree arc at two fit men standing in
the middle of a desert plain. Chances are high that most bullets will slowly
cruise to the ground by running out of acceleration.
BUT, if you fire that same full clip in a 30 degree arc at 10 cows, all
facing perpendicular to you, and standing right in front of a termite ridden
barn, you're likely to hit some cows, and VERY likely to hit the broadside
of a barn.
What do you think?

I'm with you on the reality thing, its too much to handle and really should
never mingle with Brikwars.
PS. Has anyone read the BrikWars Scenario Sourcebook? Is it being boycotted
due to my sarcastic offer of selling hardcopies? Or because it's unofficial?
If so, take this as a solicitation to Mike for 'official'ness status...

| (...) Absolutely, the modifier is that since there are that many more potential targets, you're making that many more rolls. You've got the wrong idea about the way these things work, there is no bullet that 'misses' the first guy. You're making the (...) (23 years ago, 27-Apr-02, to lugnet.gaming)
