Re: Any talk of a Pirate Game or BrikWars at BrickFest 2002?

(...) As Lindsay has said, Pirate Gaming at Brickfest is almost a given. I will be looking for what's to make it less demanding of my time however. I really want to have plenty of time to enjoy Brickfest as a whole. I will welcome thoughts on how to (...)   Re: New space wargame: Fleet Command

(...) Actually, I wrote the program in Visual Basic. Converting to a mac version would be good, though. I'll post the code when I have a final version done. Zac Soden (23 years ago, 25-Nov-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming)

Re: New space wargame: Fleet Command

This seems pretty cool, unfortunately I haven't read all the rules yet. Though I'll be sure to give you feedback as soon as I do. Anyhow, Zac, are you willing to post the source code for your program? If it's in C++ or C I might be able to make a (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming)

  New space wargame: Fleet Command

Hi there everyone, Lucky for me, I have just finished year 12 and, after a streak of inspiration, I have written a wargame. Although Brikwars is a great, well written game, I was finding it a bit slow to play with all of the dice rolling for (...) (23 years ago, 24-Nov-01, to lugnet.space, lugnet.gaming)

The next big scenario at WAMALUG's BrikWars Game!

There is a large arena for combat. Each player brings an army of troops and vehicles. At the start of the game, the Computer or Demon of War will allow each team to choose it's ten best men. These troops will be allowed into the arena first. Then (...) (23 years ago, 23-Nov-01, to lugnet.gaming)

WWII Brikwars (was Re: Vought F-4 Corsair)

(...) Ahhhh :) Actually, Eric Joslin and I did exactly that last year (when I was just embarking upon my WWII modeling frenzy!). Eric did a fantastic 1950s-comic-book-style newsreel writeup[1]: (URL) thread in which we discuss the anachronistic (...) (23 years ago, 20-Nov-01, to lugnet.build.military, lugnet.gaming)

(...) the (...) Hmm, I know they are eventually moving it, but I can't remember when, I thought it wasn't going to happen for a couple years yet. Well if it's not there this year, then I guess we will just have to find another excuse to get (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil)

  Re: I wanna play brikwars!

Hmmm I heard the last one was the last year for GenCon to be here. Of course things can change without notice I'm sure. Though there was something about the costs I believe. Tamy (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil)

  Re: I wanna play brikwars!

(...) That meeting was at my house, we are having it again the Saturday of Gencon, if people want to get together again. If you will let me know what we need to play, I will get it ready for for that day. If there isnt a big draw for Brikwars, we (...) (23 years ago, 17-Nov-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil)

  Re: I wanna play brikwars!

(...) I can't be driving out to Wi right now, but as I am in Milwaukee every August (for Gencon) maybe we (ie AFOLs in the area) could have a LUG meeting and play some Brikwars afterwards. Someone was having a meeting in the area this year, but alas (...) (23 years ago, 16-Nov-01, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.loc.us.wi.mil)
