  Mini pirate ship

For MichLUG's appearance at the Detroit-area Festival of Trees, I thought a mini pirate ship would be a fun ornament. (URL) it'll have to be a good glue job to keep this on the tree. After mutilating both ends of an axle trying to drill a hole for a (...) (21 years ago, 8-Nov-03, to lugnet.pirates, lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.build.microscale)

Re: Harry Potter Aragog in forest

(...) Good Call, Maggie, to switch out the inverse corner slopes for regular 2x2 inverse slopes! I would have done the exact same thing--no way would I let kids have a part that is pretty valuable to us adult builders :) :) As for the limit of 3 -- (...) (...) They didn't for the couple of dozen I ordered on the 9th. While they were in transit my 5th grader's teacher called to scare up donations for their Halloween Party. Since there are only seven of them (most of his class are sixth graders who (...) (21 years ago, 19-Oct-03, to lugnet.market.shopping, lugnet.fun.holiday, FTX)

  Re: IDOL is coming...

(...) Duq, This sounds like an appropriate celebration of such an important holiday... I'll have to do a little of the same, though I'm afraid it won't be anywhere nifty like Ireland. Hope you have a good trip, and find some treasure! May your MOCs (...) (22 years ago, 22-Feb-03, to lugnet.fun.holiday)

  Re: IDOL is coming...

I'll be away from home and office on the 18th of March, as I'll be spending the week in Ireland.... After recovering from Paddy's day we'll go to Connemara where I'll hope to find this tiny shop that still has some old sets on the shelf. A bit like (...)   IDOL is coming...

Greetings, Earth-mortals! I've been working recently (and hopefully for the long term - I want this to be THE ONE) at a job with excellent benefits, among those two paid "floating holidays" where we can choose any day to make our own holiday. We've (...) (22 years ago, 20-Feb-03, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general, lugnet.space)

Re: Twas the Night Before Christmas

(...) No, didn't see that. I know there was a fireplace in the last Lego Magazine, but I didn't look too closely at it. Yep, I've only got one of the Dobby sets. I mainly got it for Dobby, who is replacing a Life On Mars alien as my Gollum (just saw (...) (22 years ago, 21-Dec-02, to lugnet.fun.holiday, lugnet.general)

Re: Twas the Night Before Christmas

(...) If that mouse really isn't stirring in the first photo, that cat has got its work cut out for it. Actually, cats probably wouldn't go after something that just sat there not-stirring. @8^) The Dobby sock makes for a great stocking. I'm (...)
