From my own experience: I've used Krylon enamel spray paints to color code wheel hubs (mainly 20x30') with successs - I avoided paint build-up on mating surfaces by having axles in place. And wash pieces in dishwashing detergent to remove any (...) (22 years ago, 13-Aug-02, to lugnet.fun.crafts)
