Hi Andreas, Hi James (and all other readers as well!!) (...) Well yes in a way! "Auf Wiedersehen!" is just used in spoken language. In formal letters it will be "Mit freundlichen Gruessen" which means something like "Yours sincerely" Or "Kind (...) (24 years ago, 28-Oct-00, to lugnet.fun)

As much as I am consistently impressed with the mastery of English of our ESL[1] members, I also enjoy reverse translating to see what the original thought might have been.
