Though I have no idea what The Lego Company actually does, or doesn't do with certain numbers, there is some method to their madness. For some items, (...)   Item Numbers

I was looking at the list of the item numbers of Scala sets when I started wondering why certain numbers which should be there are skipped. For example, the 18 sets from 1998 have numbers ranging from 3100 through 3120, but there are no sets with (...) (25 years ago, 1-Mar-00, to lugnet.scala, lugnet.faq)

So what's a b-s-t announcement? (was: Let's define what an auction announcement/update is)

OK, I don't participate in much auctions... But I was wondering about Buy-sell-trade annoucements. Is it OK to post a b-s-t announcement in the appropriate group? For example, I want to trade a Belville set but I realize the chances to find someone (...) (25 years ago, 15-Feb-00, to lugnet.market.theory, lugnet.faq)
