Here's a decent head-start, Derek Schin's rec.toys.lego acronym list:

As I mentioned, this list is for rec.toys.lego, and has quite a few acronyms
not in common usage on LUGNET; I think it would be useful to break it up into
Lego theme acronyms, Lego chat acronyms, and Internet culture acronyms. Note
also that you might need to get his permission to copy the relevant parts.
Here's a few more acronyms:
BURP = Big Ugly Rock Piece (common usage?)
SNOT = Studs Not On Top (from Tom McDonald?)
POOP = Piece Of Other Pieces (common usage?)
SPUD = Special Purpose Ugly Design (common usage?)
TIMMY = Terribly Immature Minifig Master of Yucky (mine! :-)

| I was thinking of creating an Acronym FAQ. I've noticed that many people don't know certain acronyms and can't figure them out from the context. Do you think there is need for one? I know that earlier ones were made but long ago, and new acronyms (...) (25 years ago, 5-Feb-00, to lugnet.faq)
