  Suggestion for LDraw FAQ
 
[crossposted to lugnet.faq and lugnet.cad.dev, followup-to set to lugnet.faq] Looking at the LDraw FAQ, it looks like a new level of organization is needed, above the current levels. More precisely, a large number of the topics should be grouped (...) (25 years ago, 13-May-99, to lugnet.faq, lugnet.cad.dev)

(...) Good ideas. My suggestion (to tie into the look and feel and professional style of ldraw.org) would be to rephrase the questions to be a little bit more formal. ie: change 'What is this LDraw Thing?' to 'What is LDraw?' and 'Mailing list?!? (...) (25 years ago, 14-May-99, to lugnet.faq)

(...) A little informality can be a good thing. The 'Mailing List' question needs to be rewritten anyway, since L-CAD/lugnet.cad.dev is really a newsgroup, not a mailing list. Well, it's both, but it's more effective as a newsgroup (IMO). Steve (25 years ago, 15-Jun-99, to lugnet.faq)
