Re: NWBrickCon™ 2004 Animation Film Festival

(...) Saying that the copyright must be held by the director is overly restrictive, I think. There are other ways to legally use material, such as Creative Commons licenses, or simply getting permission from the copyright holder. Also, how are you (...) (...) [SNIP] I've participated in both the BrickFest PDX and BrickFest 2004 Dirty Brickster events, and would have to say they were both highlights from each event. I'd recommend everyone spend the measly $10 to participate. From a practical (...) (20 years ago, 5-Sep-04, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon)

Re: NWBrickCon™ 2004 Haunted Mansion Module Contest!

(...) You may be right about the "coolness" chances of a multiple module, but don't depend on that. I expect some outrageous singles - there should be plenty of room to "be cool" within one baseplate. Remember, it will be the public deciding on the (...)   Re: NWBrickCon™ 2004 Haunted Mansion Module Contest!

If a module takes up multiple baseplates, it has a better chance to be cool and thus to win the contest. So will there be separate winners for each size? Or is each baseplate one entry? Or what? (20 years ago, 24-Aug-04, to lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, FTX)
