To clear up a question someone had, the only piece from set 8475 that you
have to use for this competition is the RC receiver -- the part that
contains the batteries and motor outputs. (Of course you'll also want to use
the transmitter to talk to the receiver, but that's not part of the racer
itself!)
You may use whatever motors, wheels, or steering mechanism you like, and any
other LEGO parts, whether they come from set 8475 or not, are completely
acceptable.
