I need to give some background here. Diana and Steven came from Singapore to
visit, and I picked them up at the airport. I got to know them on the way to the
hotel and Diana mentioned how the Asian area is really lacking in LEGO community
support.
She brought up that point in a very passionate question to Jørgen Vig Knudstorp,
CEO of the LEGO Group, at the keynote Q & A, and Jørgen answered her by
inviting her to a meeting in Singapore to meet with the appropriate people to
get a community structure started.
That is one of the things that I wanted to see happen at BrickFest - community
making connections to grow, with each other and with the LEGO Group. I'm really
happy to be part of this, and I am looking forward to seeing what becomes of
Diana:-)
It's all worth it:-)!
