  Where to go in Washington area?
 
After attending BrickFest I intend to stay about two weeks in the US. I'm from the Netherlands, don't know the Washington area and don't have any specific plans yet. Lenny gave excellent suggestions on places to visit. If you have transportation, such as a rental car, you should also visit George Washington's home, Mount Vernon, (URL), historic Williamsburg, the colonial capitol of Virginia (URL) and Jamestown, (...) The previous posts mentioned some of the many historical attractions around the area.
