Thanks for the good list, Lar. I might add a few other key items:
- Name Badge Bricks For those of us who didn’t buy the full option for
the engraved name badges, don’t forget your engraved 1x8s from previous fests.
- Clothes Well, ya. You can’t go naked :-) I remember reading somewhere
that the best way to dress for Portland is in layers. This may be a no-
brainer for most, but us folks in the deep south must come prepared. So,
bring a jacket, sweater, hat, pancho, etc.
- Pics of your MOC(s) This goes along with the packing advice. In past
Brickfests, I’ve brought along printed photos of my MOCs (taken before I
left). These photos greatly helped in reconstructing my MOCs at the ‘fest.
No matter how well you pack, there will most likely be damage done and some
rebuilding needed when you arrive.
