Re: Question about MOC transport from hotel to fest

Hey, Mike...this is actually my first trip to Brickfest, but as a local I can tell you there are a fair number of restaurants either right at the hotel or within close walking distance of the hotel, ranging from cheap(?) to fairly nice. The (...) (22 years ago, 17-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Train/Town Layout Plan

I have received a few inquiries about Monorail, but at this time I have not committed it to the 12V or 9V layout. Scott's section on the 9V layout apparently includes some monorail already so maybe we could just expand on that. Chris Leach has a (...)   Share a Ride? (Re: Traveling from airport to the fest)

Thanks Christina and Mark for your responses. Now, a more specific question: Would anyone like to share a ride (taxi or shuttle) from DCA (Reagan/National) to the Hilton? My plane will arrive at 9:30pm on Thursday. Due to the 2 large trunks that (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Question about MOC transport from hotel to fest

My wife and I are planning on going to BrickFest this year -- yeah! -- I'm from Columbus BLOC, btw. We're staying at the Hilton Arlington & Towers. For those of you who went to the fest last year & stayed at the Hilton, how did you transport your (...) (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Train/Town Layout Plan

The 9V Train and Town layout for BrickFest 2002 is tentatively designed. Please take a look: (URL) idea is to have at least 6 loops with plenty of staging yard space for trains. (22 years ago, 16-Jul-02, to lugnet.trains.org, lugnet.events.brickfest)
