Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Thanks for the link Bram, I guess I should get building! Janey "Red Brick" Micro Display Coordinator (URL) Micro MOC Off!> (URL) BrickFest 2004 in Washington DC> (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space, FTX)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Very nice! To connect moonbases together, just use a short Technic axle? (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Here's an approximately stick-fig scale standard for the Moonbase: (URL) includes several different ways to build the connector. Each module should fit on a 16x16 baseplate (or some multiple thereof). --Bram (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.space)

Re: BrickFest is coming, and so are the robots!

(...) The reason behind that is pretty simple. It's because I've entered many of the challenges. I've seen what other people out there can do, and I'm just lucky they haven't been entering. I was just looking over the rules, and (as usual) John's (...) (20 years ago, 28-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.technic, lugnet.robotics)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Oh that is great John! I added you to my list, thanks. If you want you can bring a picture of the actual house, and please don't forget to fill out a MOC card at the BrickFest site.   Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Excellent, I have marked that down, and I am looking forward to meeting you. Janey "Red Brick" Micro Display Coordinator (URL) Micro MOC Off!> (URL) BrickFest 2004 in Washington DC> (20 years ago, 27-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Thanks for the fast reply. I'll try to work out some scale that'll suit the bricks I intend to use best. Given the limitations of the method of transport (a suitcase) write me down for one baseplate 32*32. Color will be lightgrey. (20 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Sounds Great! Well math is not one of my stronger suits so if anyone else wants to weigh in on this question, please go for it. As far as I know, "Micro-Scale" building has kind of covered various scales. For BrickFest we are trying to get (...) (20 years ago, 26-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest, FTX)

Re: Micro MOC Off! BrickFest 2004

(...) Will be working on this as soon as 1000Steine Land 2004 is over. I first planned to bring my ISCC3 brewery with me, but due to size and transport issues I'll be making a microfig copy of it, which should fit in my bags. But what I'd like to (...)   Re: BrickFest is coming!

I'm reposting this message to the events.BrickFest list so that everyone knows about this great opportunity. I'm sure there are others out there, just like me, who have an RCX set (found for a good price, or a gift, whatever the case...) and you (...)   Re: Pick a Brick at BrickFest

(...) 3852 (...) all (...) really (...) I used a counting scale, so I only counted out a small number of them (50). As to why my count is off from the others posted, i'm not sure. I don't remember using many of them yet. If so, it would only be off (...) (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Pick a Brick at BrickFest

(...) Thanks for the count. I'd be worried about somebody who actually counted 3852 bricks except I was one of the folks working on the wedding mosaic who put all the 1x1 bricks with the LEGO logo facing the same direction :-) Now I really want some (...)   Re: Pick a Brick at BrickFest

(...) So that comes out to about .027 cents a brick if you get 1x2 bricks, that's not a bad price, just over 1 cent a stud. jt (20 years ago, 25-Jun-04, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
