  Re: Driving to Brickfest?

(...) Adrian, Yahoo Maps show the route at slightly under 40 miles longer, diverging in Fernway, PA, going to Morgantown, VA, and picking up I-68. The real time savings to me is avoiding the PA TPK, and the traffic encountered everytime on it (for (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Driving to Brickfest?

(...) Larry, I use I-79 to get from I-68 to I-70. It runs north-south, just west of Pittsburgh. To be honest, I've never been to Michigan or Cleveland that way; I take it on trips to central Indiana, and I have a friend who uses the route to get to (...)   Re: Driving to Brickfest?

(...) Hrm. Mapquest.com shows the route down into WV and along I-68 starting from Cleveland is 70 miles longer than taking I-70 straight through. Is it really faster? That's quite impressive if so. Adrian (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Call for Group Layout at BrickFestT 2003

(...) Apologies if this is a dup, I thought I posted a reply but must have bobbled it. I knew you were bringing your own tables!!!! It's a good thing, it frees up GMU tables. For whatever reason it just didn't make the layout space plan... Here's a (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: Driving to Brickfest?

(...) Interesting info! I am coming from Grand Rapids MI, via the Ohio Turnpike so where should I cut over to I 68 if I choose to do that? Thanks for sharing this tidbit (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

  Re: my real train

(...) I think thats where they have me and the Rail Racers track set up, so you might actually have to set up in the bathroom. jt (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

Re: Call for Group Layout at BrickFest™ 2003

(...) Roger that! In particular the peninsula connecting MichLTC to the rest of the oval doesn't have to be all yard, although it has 4 tracks on it there is still room for one baseplate wide buildings, and with the extra tables that LUCNY is (...)   Re: my real train

(...) I don't think there is a DDR or even an DDA. It may not work well in the main (2nd floor public area) layout... But it would be welcome in 250, the trains breakout room, there will be some tables along the edge if all goes according to plan. (...) (21 years ago, 6-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest)
