BrickFest 2002 Animation Festival and Animation Competition Awards

Re: The Pirate Game at BrickFest 2002

(...) That would be putting it mildly! (...) I was unaware that you asked to use imperials. I played imperials last year (who promptly "went bad")... (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: My scattered thank-you's

(...) (URL) think it ended up in 251 (across from one of the train rooms?) The game started off in the Mindstorms room, IIRC and was moved Saturday morning. It was a small room and there were only a dozen or so misc MOCs. -Rob. (Saw ya taking (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) <beaucoup de snippage...> :) It looked like Larry didn't have a lot of luck this year... ;) The game looked very fun from what I saw of it. I was tempted to join but was "rebuffed" when I was told that I couldn't use Imperials or use (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Bill Changing Machine

(...) Knowing that Lego in bulk 25 cent vending machines has been a long-time dream of Suz's, I was also sad when her supplies were exhausted.   The Pirate Game at BrickFest 2002

Well, I didn't take many pictures, and I don't think we had a web cam in the room, so I won't be able to do a turn by turn re-cap of the game, so I'll just free associate about the game... First off, as has been mentioned before, this was absolutely (...) (22 years ago, 24-Jul-02, to lugnet.gaming, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.pirates)

  Re: Brickfest Pics: Two Cranes

(...) That looks like the TJ I saw getting my big box off the luggage carousel... And the crane base looks like the one I helped re-assemble while waiting for Lindsay to emerge from the I-95 traffic mire... So I would say you score two for two there (...)
