(...) First, it's not a straight gradient. We wanted to make it with about three inches of black in the middle & the same in white on the outside. That gives the maximum range in the area where the robots will race. So, here are the numbers (nxt (...) (17 years ago, 20-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)

Gus, 1) Steve has the track...just got it a few days ago...I doubt he gets a chance to make any accurate/repeatable readings in the time available. 2) The track will be available to roll out on the floor (or wherever) all weekend long. (...) If 10 - 15% is the dividing line, then you should probably leave room in your luggage. The discount Brickworld registrants will receive is a tiered discount of up to 25%. The tiers are: 1. Up to $99.99 10% Off 2. $100 $149.99 20% Off 3. (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

Bryan, Can you indicate anything about whether we might expect a very significant discount at the local LEGO store? (say more than 10-15%.) I'm trying to decide whether to leave space for bricks in my luggage for the way back, or bring some extra (...) (17 years ago, 19-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, FTX)

(...) That appears to be a typo. The track fits on a FLL table, so it's a 44"x92" inch oval. And the lane is about 2ft wide. It's pretty easy to build and program a robot for this event. It just needs to follow a specific shade (actual value will (...) (17 years ago, 17-Jun-07, to lugnet.events.brickworld, lugnet.robotics)
