Whoa, what a fast weekend Brickfest was.... (URL) I had an even better time than I could have possibly ever expected. Huge turnouts for .Space and .Trains. RTLToronto's Mindstorm events have me thinking about next year already. The real fun though (...) (...) For a time. But it is growing and incorporating the public. Is it not? Take SciFi cons for example. You pay to get in, boy to you pay, but I can go and wander about if I wish. I won't get the extras but I can wander about. Now I believe your (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.events.nwbrickcon, lugnet.general)

(...) I wonder why this must be the case. BrickFest started quite well as a purely fan event. We didn't even really have an idea what the draw of the outlet store would be. Obviously it was some draw, and there will be some number of folks more (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickswest, lugnet.events.brickfest)

(...) LeVeque was build by John Bucy. In his brickshelf folder there are some pics of the construction phase. It is even more impressive when you see it live. I'm sure John will post his pics soon. Funny thing was that in Cleveland there is a (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events)

Sheree, The Fabuland display was the work of one gentleman. As I had a laptop and a printer on site, he asked me to make him a sign for it. The sign read "Entire Tow For Sale" and had his phone number. Unfortunately, neither Mark's pictures nor my (...) (23 years ago, 12-Aug-03, to lugnet.events.brickfest, lugnet.fabuland)
