Now that my Duplo Printed Brick obsession is in full raging bloom it looks
like I'm going to have to pounce on one of this week's Shop at Home
specials.  They have set 2436 ("Native American" Village) on sale for $ 17.50.

This set has 7 of the 1x2 Printed Bricks - Bow & Arrow, Fire, Drum, Pottery,
Horns/Sun Design, Fish and one I can't quite make out from the picture -
maybe an Indian blanket design.

There are also 2 of the 2x2 Totem Pole Bricks with what I call the Cartoon
Indian Faces.

What a bonanza of Printed Bricks!

Unfortunately there's not a whole lot of other pieces in this set that I
envision having much use for.  The ones that I do like include the rope (I
can see that being used to tie up a Pirate ship at the dock), the brown
round base for the fire, and the cactus plant.  The bears will be a new
addition to my Duplo menagerie.

Now all I have to do is figure out what I'm going to do with all the other
Duplo pieces I don't really have much use for.  In addition to the ones in
this set I've already accumulated a nice little pile from my recent
purchases of 2697, 2435 and 2600.

Oh well, I guess it's time to join the crowd and open a Brickbay shop...

All for now - more on Printed Brick Mania and my newfound appreciation for
Duplo later.

Greg
