"Finding LEGO" : Nemo and Marlin sculptures

Hi, everybody! I was recently commissioned to build two sculptures of Marlin and Nemo from Disney's movie "Finding Nemo". Marlin is about 8 inches long, and Nemo is about 6 inches long.   Re: Comming this Christmas: The Chronicles of Narnia

(...) I have only read his Narnia books, but I just started "Out of the silent planet" from his space trilogy. But what I have seen of the movie, I think it will be totally awesome. I like my unicorn, but I'm still trying to decide, if I should (...) (19 years ago, 15-Oct-05, to lugnet.castle, lugnet.disney, lugnet.books, lugnet.build, FTX)

  Vigs by Moko

Hey all, Moko doesn't (AFAIK) post on Lugnet, but his (URL) vignettes> really should not be missed. Here are his most recent: (4 URLs) and I'm cross-posting to .disney because of this one: (URL) Bruce (20 years ago, 14-Mar-05, to lugnet.build.vignette, lugnet.disney, FTX)

  Re: Supertrain pictures - SALUG

Hey, This looks like it was a great show. The (URL) Disneyland section> is probably my favorite--when I first saw it on Brickshelf I had assumed it was by SCLTC or SPLTC, because it's so well done I assumed it was by local Southern Californians who (...)   Re: Well, this isn't good (especially for the Disney board here)

(...) Actually, the license with Disney ended a while before that decision. -Scott (20 years ago, 23-Nov-04, to lugnet.disney)

Re: Well, this isn't good (especially for the Disney board here)

(...) That's what makes me so frustrated. The major competitors report success while TLG makes things worse by making poor business decisions (i.e. the big "2003-change"). -Bryan (20 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.disney)

Re: Well, this isn't good (especially for the Disney board here)

(...) I think it was Lego that bailed on the continued contract. From what I've heard, Lego basically said "We've been hit hard by licensing, we're not going to do any more licensed products." - Star Wars was great, but also flopped (Lucas got a (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.disney)

Re: Well, this isn't good (especially for the Disney board here)

(...) Then you'd better brace yourself--MegaBloks has recently licenced some of Marvel Comics' characters, and Spiderman is the first set to be revealed so far. Potentially, you'll see LEGO Spiderman and MB Spiderman together on the very same shelf (...) (20 years ago, 22-Nov-04, to lugnet.disney)
