While I agree with your thoughts in theory, in practice it just doesn't make
sense. The thing is, bright colors attract more attention and sell more. After
all this was one of the major reasons for the gray to "blay change in past
years. Now I understand that you would like to see more basic colors verses
pinks and purples and blues but what your asking for is a earth tone bucket. Now
while an earth tone bucket would be hugely popular with the afol crowd and to a
small number of kids it wouldn't jump off the shelfs in huge numbers like the
anniversary buckets have.
Aside from all of this color debate lets remember that the bulk buckets arent
exactly huge moneymakers for the company. bulk buckets exist simply because
retailers like TRU, target, and Wal-Mart want them not because TLC wants to
flood the market with .02 cents per part sets when most of there line runs at
.10 cents.
Interpret this as you wish, after all this is just my opinion,
